Racing Incident Report

Pla. Horse No. Horse Incident
7 I CAN (H381) Sent for sampling post-race.
10 IVY LEAGUE (H116) Crowded at the start. Sent for sampling post-race.
9 SETANTA (G095) No report.
1 SIMPLY MAVERICK (H346) Sent for sampling post-race.
2 HAMERON (H265) Between the 300 Metres and the 200 Metres was held up for clear running when attempting to improve between MIDORI FUJI and GLORIOUS JOURNEY.
11 MIDORI FUJI (J432) Jumped only fairly and was crowded.
4 NOISY BOY (J536) Raced keenly in the early and middle stages. Whilst the Stewards were satisfied that the riding of B Avdulla, 7th placegetter, over the concluding stages did not affect the horse’s finishing position, he was nonetheless reminded of his obligation to ensure that he fully rides his mounts out to the finish of the race.
8 GLORIOUS JOURNEY (J137) After the event, M Chadwick reported that his mount was obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event and as a result was left without a finishing effort in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
6 CHAIN OF GOLD (J138) After the event, Z Purton reported that his mount, which was fractious in the barriers, shifted its hood as the start was effected. He said as a result he repositioned the hood soon after the start. He added that, in his opinion, CHAIN OF GOLD raced in a disappointing manner as it did at its most recent start and may need a short break before its next race start. Trainer W K Mo confirmed that the horse will be given a short let-up. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
3 NEARLY FINE (E430) No report.
12 OUR LUCKY GLORY (G292) No report.
5 RISING FROM ASHES (G209) Tongue tie replaced at the Start.
