After the event, A Atzeni stated that his instructions were to allow his mount to settle where comfortable and not to make use of it in the early stages as CLUB ACE had not finished its races off at its most recent race starts when ridden in this manner. He said after being crowded at the start CLUB ACE settled in a midfield position where it travelled comfortably. He added in the Home Straight CLUB ACE finished the race off only fairly. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. |

Trainer M Newnham confirmed the instructions and stated that he issued such instructions as SUPER CHARIZZARD did not finish the race off strongly when ridden forward from a wide barrier on 5 February 2025. |
