1 4 RED ELEGANCE (H241) Sent for sampling post-race.
2 3 ETERNAL FORTUNE (K010) Jumped awkwardly and lost ground. Passing the 200 Metres Apprentice E C W Wong dropped his whip. Sent for sampling post-race.
3 6 HEROIC MASTER (G394) From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. After the 600 Metres commenced to race keenly and got its head up when being steadied away from VON BAER.
4 2 YOUTHFUL SPIRITS (J082) Shifted in shortly after the start, was bumped on the hindquarters and became unbalanced. Over the final 100 Metres lay out under pressure.
5 1 HEALTHY HEALTHY (H203) Between the 300 Metres and the 200 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running when improving between RED ELEGANCE and FUN ELITE.
6 11 GRAND NOVA (J323) From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Between the 300 Metres and the 200 Metres was shifted to the outside of ETERNAL FORTUNE to obtain clear running.
7 5 FUN ELITE (J042) Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
8 9 ALLGREEKTOME (H007) After the 200 Metres was bumped by CHEVAL VALIANT which shifted in.
9 10 CHEVAL VALIANT (E336) Shortly after the start was bumped. Near the 200 Metres lay in and was bumped. After the event, H Bentley reported that his mount is better suited racing at Sha Tin down the Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
10 8 SERGEANT PEPPER (E432) Shortly after the start was crowded between CHEVAL VALIANT and YOUTHFUL SPIRITS which shifted in despite the efforts of its rider L Ferraris.
11 7 VON BAER (K198) No report.
12 12 SKY CAP (K125) A Badel was fined a sum of $5,000 for using the whip on his mount when it was out of contention and not responding to his whip use.
