After the event, rider stated that it was not his intention to lead but when a number of runners to his outside did not cross he was obliged to lead the event. He added his mount was not suited by racing in that position and gave ground under pressure in the Home Straight. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 432.

3 J252  SMASHING EXPRESS  15/03/2025   506  SMASHING EXPRESS (J252) between the 450M and the 300M had some difficulty obtaining clear running when it lay in whilst being shifted out to obtain clear running - Race 506.
4 H419  WINDICATOR FAMILY  19/03/2025   515  WINDICATOR FAMILY (H419) after travelling a short distance was steadied when crowded. Held up for clear running between the 450M and the 300M - Race 515.
5 H027  STRONGEST BOY  15/03/2025   506  STRONGEST BOY (H027) on jumping was hampered when taken out. From the outside barrier was then shifted across behind runners in the early stages. After the event, rider stated that when under pressure in the Home Straight he had some concern with the action of the horse. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 506.

9 H386  MR ALADDIN  19/03/2025   515  MR ALADDIN (H386) after being placed in the starting gates reared and got its right front leg over the front gates for some period of time. Acting on vet advice that the horse was not suitable to race, the horse was withdrawn by order of the Stewards. Has since attended barrier practice to the satisfaction of the Starter, performed to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and passed an official vet exam - Race 515.
10 J187  VERBIER  19/03/2025   515  VERBIER (J187) made the Home Turn awkwardly, shifted out and brushed with a runner. Near the 300M made contact with a runner then became unbalanced. After the event, rider confirmed that from the outside barrier and with his mount stepping up in distance he was instructed to ride in a forward position. Trainer confirmed the instructions issued and said the horse had performed well in its most recent barrier trials when ridden in the lead - Race 515.
11 G304  SUPERB MOVE  19/03/2025   515  SUPERB MOVE (G304) was withdrawn on raceday morning by order of the Stewards acting on vet advice (left hind cannon injury). Has since passed an official vet exam - Race 515.

2 E403  TSUEN WAN GLORY  15/03/2025   505  TSUEN WAN GLORY (E403) jumped awkwardly and became unbalanced. Trainer advised that the instructions were to take up a midfield position with cover - Race 505.
