Ben, Will & JD Hayes
Age: Ben Hayes – 34, Will Hayes – 29, JD Hayes – 29
Background:
The third generation of Hayes family sons officially took up the Lindsay Park training reins in June, 2021, when Ben was joined by his younger brother JD to form a training partnership. On August 2, 2023, they were joined by JD’s twin brother Will. Will Hayes was an elite sportsman having played in the Australian Football League, while still riding trackwork for Lindsay Park before joining the licence. As sons of David – the youngest ever Australian Racing Hall of Fame inductee, and grandsons of Colin Hayes, Ben, Will and JD have been finely educated in horsemanship to carry on the Hayes family tradition. Nine-time Group 1 winner Mr Brightside is the stable flagbearer for the three boys.
